How Bonbon collects, uses, shares and protects your information — and the rights you have over it.
I. Scope of Information Collection
Bonbon collects information you actively provide and information automatically generated during your use of the Services.
1. Information You Actively Provide
- Registration Information: Mobile phone number and verification code matching result. This is the basis for using the Services.
- Identity Information: In accordance with legal and regulatory requirements (such as real-name authentication), you may be required to provide your real name, ID card number, and facial recognition features (for face verification).
- Personal Profile: Nickname, gender, date of birth, hometown, hobbies, signature, photos, voice, videos, and other information you fill in.
- Contact Information: Mobile phone number, email address, etc., provided for using certain functions (such as contacting customer service).
- Payment Information: When you make purchases such as recharging or buying virtual gifts, the transaction will be processed through cooperating third-party payment institutions. Bonbon will collect payment results and order numbers but will not directly collect sensitive information such as your password.
2. Information Automatically Collected During Service Use
- Device and Log Information: IP address, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IMEI/Android ID/IDFA/OpenUDID/GUID), mobile network information, system language, access date and time, operation logs, and service log information.
- Location Information: To provide core functions such as "People Nearby," Bonbon will collect your precise location information (GPS and network positioning). You can disable location services in your device settings, but this may affect the use of certain functions.
- Address Book Information: With your authorization, Bonbon will access your address book to recommend friends you may know. This is optional, and you can choose not to authorize it.
- Photo Album, Camera, and Microphone: With your authorization, these are used for uploading avatars, posting updates, and conducting video or voice calls.
- Friend List and Interaction Information: People you follow, people you interact with, and chat records (please note that chat content is stored on your device and our servers).
II. Purposes of Information Use
Bonbon collects information primarily for the following purposes:
- Account Creation and Management: To create your account and verify your identity.
- Core Function Provision: To provide you with functions such as "People Nearby," live streaming, chatting, and status sharing.
- Personalized Recommendations: To recommend people, content, or services that may interest you based on your interests, location, and behavior.
- Product Optimization and Development: To improve and optimize existing Services and develop new functions by analyzing user behavior data.
- Security Assurance: To conduct identity verification, security prevention, fraud detection, and archiving/backup to ensure the security of your account.
- Information Push: To send you service notifications, security updates, event previews, and other information.
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations: To fulfill obligations stipulated by laws and regulations.
III. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Bonbon will not arbitrarily sell or rent your information, but may share it in the following circumstances:
- With Your Consent: After obtaining your explicit consent.
- Necessary Third-Party Service Providers: For example, sharing with third payment service providers to complete top-up; sharing with push service providers to send notifications. These third parties are bound by contracts and may only use the information for specific purposes.
- Legal and Governmental Requirements: In accordance with legal provisions, judicial rulings, or mandatory requirements from government authorities.
- Protection of Rights and Security: To protect the rights, property, and safety of Bonbon, its affiliates, or users, when necessary.
- Corporate Structure Changes: In the event of merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, personal information may be transferred.
IV. Your Rights (Highly Important!)
You have the following rights regarding your information:
- Access and Correction: You can access and modify your personal profile (e.g., nickname, avatar) within the App.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and personal information through the "Account Cancellation" function.
- Withdrawal of Authorization: You can disable Bonbon's access to permissions such as location, address book, camera, photo album, and microphone in your phone's "Settings" - "App Permissions." After withdrawal, related functions may not be available.
- Account Cancellation: You can find the account cancellation function in the App's "Settings." Once cancelled, the account is irrecoverable, and all information will be deleted or anonymized.
